I Came From India

Well, I was six years old when my dad, my brother, and I came from India to this country. We came here to be with my mom, who was born in Mississippi. She was a U.S. citizen and she came back to the U.S. before us to prepare for our arrival. I was away from her for about three years. When I got here, I didn’t speak English. It was strange but fun!
