Immigration Enforcement and Rights

Print E-mail
What powers does ICE have? What rights do immigrants have? What is the policy on DACA? Why should immigrants never rely on notaries (notarios) for legal assistance? In this lesson, students address these questions. First, students learn about the policies and realities of enforcement and rights with the help of a resource attorney or teacher/facilitator. Then students role-play executive advisors to the president on immigration policy. Free classroom materials available here or through CRF's Courtroom to Classroom web page.
