From Iran
Coming to the U.S. from Iran was challenging for both my parents and grandparents. It set them on a journey to a new and unfamiliar place with no money in their pockets.
They had to look out for themselves and try to find jobs that would support their families. They spoke English, luckily, so that was a huge advantage to them. Fortunately, it made them have a bigger advantage to support themselves and their families.
